One democratic Chinese nation but not one corrupt 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 1
One democratic Chinese nation but not one corrupt socialist government.

english.peopledaily.com.cn/90001/90776/90785/6682766.html

“Cross-Straits relations should develop within the framework of the one-China policy, China's top official for Taiwan affairs said here on Friday.”

I’ve always said that China must be totally united as a single nation. But it is one thing to unite Taiwan and the mainland as one nation. It is another thing to unite two parts of China under one tyrannical government that has usurped the rights of the Chinese people to govern themselves.

The CCP government of China is not ratified by the Chinese people. The right to rule China is maintained by the PLA which is the military arm of the CCP and which had been repeatedly unleashed to suppress the Chinese people with deadly force. The CCP is wont to claim that they are truly serving the best interests of the Chinese people and that the Chinese people love them and support them. If this were true then the CCP could easily prove this to be true by instituting a democratic government and allow the people to put them into the government through popular votes. Then the CCP can legitimately say to the world that the Chinese people love and support them. But the reality is the CCP dare not allow the Chinese to express their true sentiment in a free election. So what does this say about the CCP government that has 60 years to demonstrate their ability to rule China efficiently and beneficially? If the CCP still cannot win the heart and support of the Chinese people, isn’t it time for them to step aside and allow other more capable Chinese leaders to come forward and accelerate the development of China for the greater wealth of the Chinese people and the greater strength and security of the Chinese nation?

The truth is the CCP has made China weak by relying on exports which has already reached its limit. Even if exports of low tech labor intensive product can continue, it will still doom the Chinese workers to perpetual poverty. The fact that China cannot develop faster is because the CCP dare not allow the Chinese people to be free to make themselves rich. The CCP fears that with economic freedom the Chinese people would demand political freedom. Then the CCP see themselves kicked out of the government. So instead of truly winning the heart of the Chinese people by serving them faithfully through implementing policies that will allow them to become rich and being rich go on to be the true masters of the Chinese nation, the CCP chose to keep the Chinese people poor with political suppression to allow the CCP to be the undisputed dictator of the Chinese nation.

In the final analysis, it is indeed desirable for China to be finally united into one single patriotic democratic nation. But it is certainly not desirable for the CCP to extend its corrupt and miserable socialist dictatorship into Taiwan.

Hey, Liang. I'm relatively new to this forum, so I don't know much your past. But can I ask you why you are doing all these blaming CCP all the time?

In my opinion, CCP is doing the best it can to provide chinese people a more confortable life.
Instead of blaming CCP, you should look at its achivements. Milions of people are out of poverty thanks to the economic developement.

About the "selling cheap" problem, I can tell you that its not easy for a nation emerge in a hostile international enviroment.
www.atimes.net/Greater-China/170519-In-memorium.html

Before the 1990 we don't have the unbalance problem between export/consumption. But after the soviet fall, we became useless to uncle sam, so we had to close out our cheap labor force in order to please him.
In addition, we also had to compromise with our historycal enemy: the russian. We had to renounce to our territorial claim to a large part of Manchuria occupied by soviets in order to get the protection and the support from them.
Few years later, PLAF got their first regiment of Su-27 in service protecting chinese skies. Kilo class submarines were in their way too.

Some nations like Bangladesh are even in a worse condition then us, since they also have to travel in order to sell their cheap labor force. After WW2, Italy was in that condition too, this is the reason why there are so many italian immigrants around the world. But the italian rulers were wise, indeed they blackmailed USA in order to obtain economic advantage. "Give us bucks, or we are going with URSS."
You know, Italy is in a strategic geographical position, if URSS is allowed to expand in warm water, it will be a critical hit to the US power projection capability.

Anyway, returning to China, We are forced to take a rapid industrialisation process which, of course, happens at the expense of rural farmers. If you look at what China have done in the latest 15 years by a western point of view, it's quite astonishing, the chinese achived what some western nation took 30 years to achive.

What I don't understand is all your freedom rhetoric; freedom doesn't make you stronger or richer. Once you will become strong and rich, then you will be free.

Just you know, Liang had explained that he
writes all the crap because he is a multi-millionare
and he does not have any work to do.
His family is super rich but Liang was sent to Berkeley and
ended up with a MS in computer science?

See the problem here? He is not intelligent enough to
make up stories.
Trying to reason with him is to play music to a cow.
People in this forum generally ignored the rubbish and
occasionally poked fun with his "ten point guideline for
everything".
