Dear Pepe Escobar [and others].... take notice. This Iraqi football team is the biggest threat to US designs in the region.
here is a translation by me, Younes Mahmoud (the captain of Iraqi national football team, who happens to be a Sunni) says the obvious. Before reading this... I am guessing this player will be killed if he goes back to iraq... probably kidnapped by cia or mossad blamed on al-qaeda or shiite death squads. This guy single handidly is destroying US ambition of partitioning Iraq. Everyone of us knows "al-qaeda" lives in iraq because US wants it, if it is upto iraqis... these salafi-jihadis... death squads and "kurdistan" PUK ..PKK racist seperatists will be washed away, buried deep in sands, or hanging from the lightposts. Power of people is fire-volcanic, only waiting to be errupted.
here is the tranlation of sports news (some news never ever mentioned in western media... gee I wonder WHY?):
ps if you see slashes is because a word has many meanings (of the same meaning) which I don't know which is more appropriate.. sorry.

Younes Mahmoud:
Now I want the Americans to decisively/forcefully leave Iraq
Younes Mahmoud, the captain of the Iraqi national team who at the end of the Asian Cup was chosen as the best player of this competition, after victory over Saudi Arabia and championship said: Now it is proven to all that only one united Iraq exists and this country does not need foreign forces for stability.
Reporting by IPNA and quoting from French news agency, the Iraqi national team captain in confirming the immediate withdrawl of American forces in Iraq said: Now I want the Americans to decisively/forcefully leave Iraq. Today, tomorrow, or day after, makes no difference. It is important for the American forces to leave our country's land as soon as possible. I wish that they never entered Iraq's land and I am hopeful that they will leave this country soon.
He with pointing to the recent terrorist incidents/attacks that occured in Baghdad during the street celebration of people due of the advancing of this country's national team to the finals said: This is very unfortunate. We respect everybody, but the situation inside the country is that if I too be involved in these celebrations, it is possible I get killed by someone.
Younes Mahmoud at the end made clear: Our goal was to put warm smile on the Iraqi people's lips and now I am happy that we have reached this goal.

ps. edit. i mistaken mahmoud for a kurd, he might be turkmen. Hawar Mohammad is a kurd. anyway, the beauty is that no one ever asked that.
