". . . the issue . . ." OK, you want controversy, I got controversy. My wild-ass, improbable, scheming theory is that a bunch of [Islamist terrorists - admin] commandeered some aircraft and did the dirty. But what the hey. It might have been the Daughters of the American Revolution, getting even.

Pepe has 50 questions. I have just two.

1) Scores, if not hundreds of people, not all of them loyal Americans, would have been involved in this alleged conspiracy, yet there has not been even a hint of a leak by anyone claiming to be involved. Are we to believe that the people who allegedly engineered this managed to pull off the most watertight (not to mention complex) operation in the history of dirty deeds?

2) If they did indeed pull this off, how come they did not engineer a relatively simple - and for their cause, highly necessary - "discovery" of "proof" that Saddam had WMDs?
