Pakistan on verge of defining war 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
rightly highlighted by the worthy writer, the south waziristan offensive is the mother of all battles. the army is converging towards Makeen and Ladha, the militants' centre of gravity. The militants seem to be on the run , the resistance has been stiff. If the US/nATO can effectively seal their side of AFGHAN BORDER, THE RESULTS CAN BE SWIFTER.
pAKISTANI MEDIA DID DISPLAY A LOT OF CAPTURED FOREIGN ORIGIN WEAPONS YESTERDAY.
Pakistan army officers are motivated, have fought bravely and led from the front ,many attained martydom alongwith their soldiers, hence the high officer to soldier casualty ratio as pointed by the writer.

The Pakistani government has done the same the USA did after the event of 911. They hurried for this avoidable war, Pakistani army didn’t manage to eliminate Taliban, all they did was to make them run to other areas. It might be just a month to start snowing in most of the Malakand and Waziristan areas. After snow the Taliban will re-emerge in all these areas and the supply route will be cut because of snow in the mountainous area. The possibility is that they will afflict large damage to the army in winter. This will be devastating for Pakistan and the USA. Pakistan needs a better strategy to deal with this problem as every one with intellect know the real cause of the problem, Its without any doubt America that’s the cause of almost all the problems in Pakistan, Pakistan should try to use the Taliban Supreme leadership to manage the problem, which I think they can manage it better than the Pakistani government is managing. But all Pakistan needs is patience and avoid incidents like the current operations against its own nation, or the incident of Lal Masjid in Islamabad, or Drone strikes in Tribal areas. The Pakistani Muslim army should think twice who they are fighting for?

Any one can sit there and analyse a situation, what matters is what action you take in that situation...
