Obama in more trouble than Netanyahu over Iran 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
"Spengler", I have to tell you, more people care about the Palestinians than you would care to think. And more people would like "Israel" to..well..dissolve away shall we say..than you might like to think. And less people are concerned about Iran than you may like to think..There is a new wind blowing in the USA. But don't stop writing. I love it. Thanks.

The settlement was a gift

Spengler misses the point, there is a realist faction within both Israel and the US that believes the Lukud/Aipac/Settler faction is not helping. The realist are timing this policy shift because they perceive a mood swing within both Israel and the US that makes now a safer bet politically.
This is straight-up faction politics, realist vs. Lukud/Aipac, this faction has been hanging on to its place in the political mainstream by weight of inertia, and it will not go quietly into the night. The effort to bring Israel/Palestinian or the Iran/US questions into play is a misread.
The realists have the floor, and the realists think that there is no existential threat to Israel;........ and by the way we have other problems.....and that maybe you should think about someone else beside yourselves........

This loser, fantasist, wannabe wizard of death has been publishing wailing diatribes and acrimony against the US of A, ever since his psychotic dreams of phalanxes of Zionist/Christian, onward marching soldiers laying wast to the Islamic world proved as counterfeit & illusory as the bogus pretender himself. Only ignorant, skull@#$%-ed Zionist dogs worship at the altar of this American traitor, hypocrite and huckster.

Au contraire, Robster my lad. It is you already with the endless insistence for deploying American troops to the Islamic world. Your playground banter stands in stark contrast to Spengler's reasoned discourse. Guess you didn't like those poll results, did you?

Yes, the moron was referring to the polls cited in Spengler's article. This one was also cited -

Personally, I could care squat about what realists, neo-cons, fascists, communists, vegetarians, or anyone else thinks about the polls. I read them and form my own opinions. Like I said, I'll bet Robster (and, evidently Michael) didn't like them, and so dismiss them out of hand.

We appreciate Michael's industrious analysis of Spengler's article. Unfortunately, stating that the settlement announcement was either deliberate or an act of carelessness isn't exactly an insight of importance or originality. Hope Michael finds time to explain what he means by "replaying the whole Israel/Palestine/Arab/etc." thing, and why he presumes I don't "understand the nature of government agencies." (I'll confess an inadequate knowledge of the mission and day-to-day functions of the Bureau of Weights & Measures.) I await his erudition on these subjects.

That Michael doesn't give a rat's ass for polls is admirable. We hope he will favor us with a complete list of those things for which he does't give a rat's ass, so that Atol contributors and forum participants will avoid mentioning them.
